Weekly program: 27 August – 2 September

 

Today, the team of Telekom Veszprém will be travelling home from the preparation tournament of Eurotournoi, where they finished on 4th place.

 

 

The boys got a day off for Tuesday, to be able to rest out the exhaustion of the tournament and the travel, but the work will continue on Wednesday in the Veszprém Arena.

 

On 31 of August, Friday at 5:15 p.m. the team will step on court in the Veszprém Arena against the Slovenian champion RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko. This game will be our official season opener, where the team will use their brand new jerseys, which will be available in our shop and webshop.

 

The entry for this game is free of charge for our season ticket holders and Fan card holders, given that it was required before 15 August. There will be no ticket distribution for that match. Gates will open at 3:30 p.m.

 

We would like to ask our season ticket holders to use the 3 gates on the right upon entry and take their own seats, while our Fan card holders should use the far left gate next to our shop and take seats in the E, F and I sectors. Naturally, if there are free seats at the other parts of the Arena, it can be taken once the game starts.

 

We would like to ask everyone to bring their new season tickets, because this game will be the test day of the new cards. We would like to apologize in advance for any inconveniences that may happen.

 

 

We want to gift the Fans who come to the game with a hot meal (fried chicken or beef stew) in the square in front of the Arena. It can be taken before or after the game after showing the season ticket or fan card. This particular area of the square will be limited, so please arrive in time from 3:30 p.m.

 

Our name sponsor Hungarian Telekom and the Veszprém Fan Club will also have their designated area in the square. Telekom is preparing with digital tattoos, penalty shootout competition, virtual Arena tour and so on.

 

Those who cannot come to the game, can watch it live on Echo Tv, then recorded on Sport 2 from 7:30 p.m.

 

We hope that a lot of Supporters can come for our season opener preparation game and we can celebrate a victory together!

 

In the next two days after the game, the team will go team building, so they can get together before the season starts in September, when they will only have real games in the Hungarian Championship and Champions League as well.
