We will participate in the Sparkassen Cup again this year

This year it is going to be the 31st Sparkassen Cup in Ehingen (formerly known as Schlecker Cup until 2011) on which Telekom Veszprém will participate after missing one year. Between 2013 and 2015 we won this illustrious tournament while last year HCB Nantes claimed the cup.

 

This year's tournament will be held between the 12th and 13th of August. Group matches will be played on the first day while on Sunday will determine the final placements.

 

The two group are the following:

– Telekom Veszprém, PPD Zagreb, Frisch Auf! Göppingen

– HCB Nantes, Füchse Berlin, TVB 1898 Stuttgart

 

Our team will depart to Germany on the 11th of August and get home on the 14th of August.

Our first game will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. against the Croatian champion then at 7:00 p.m. against Göppingen.

Our team received invitation to the Super Globe 2017 tournament as well, but it will be at the same time like our participation tournament dedicated to the 40 years anniversary of our club so our team will not be able to travel to Qatar. By this decision the summer preparation program of our team is finalized.
