We take part in the campaign against breast cancer in this year again

On the suggestion of the American Cancer Society and a pharmaceutical company October is the month of the fight against breast cancer for 30 years now. They have a lot of campaigns across the world with which they try to draw attention to prevention and regular examinations because it can be cured with 90% confidence if the disease is recognized in time.

 

The color of the campaign is pink so many women, men and children are walking on the streets in pink t-shirts to draw attention to the fight against it.

 

 

More and more teams support this campaign in the world of sport. The most important of these might be the American National Football League (NFL), where all the players are wearing pink accessories (shoes, socks, towels, hats, etc.) in that season.

 

The editors of a Hungarian website, Steelers.hu, arranged their charity action for the 6th times in a row. They announced it yesterday in Budapest on a news conference that MAC Budapest’s hockey team, Telekom Veszprém’s handball team and Hungarian-American Football Association support this idea.

 

Veszprém’s team has joined to the initiative last year. The boys wore pink or pink-patterned socks in October, 2015 and in this year they will wear pink t-shirts during the warm-ups to put emphasis on the importance of this disease and prevention. We also prepared with a lot of surprises besides that.

 

 

Our new name giving sponsor, Hungarian Telekom, also supports our participation in this campaign. The pink t-shirts will be available in our shop and we will offer the income for the Hungarian League Against Cancer.
