On Saturday at 5:30 pm the rematch of eight-final will to begin for the Telekom Veszprém who will host PPD Zagreb in Veszprém Arena. The Hungarian champions has one goal lead. The game will be broadcasted live by Sport 1. Before this crucial match we asked our head coach and three players.
Xavi Sabaté: The most important thing is that we won in Zagreb. It was very difficult. Of course this is not enough advantage to relax and it will be very tough. We know exactly in which situations to improve and we have already started working on it. We are working hard throughout the week to be prepared for a good match and to not give a chance to them. I think that our defense, our goalkeeper and fastbreaks were amazing. It was top level. Our offense was a bit slow during some periods of the match. The difference was the control of this situation and this is one thing we have to keep doing.
Mirsad Terzic: It is always hard to play against Zagreb because they have very good defense, 5-1 with Igor Vori in the front. We have a problem with passing behind him a lot of times. I hope that we will find a solution for that in the next match. We are always better at home, in front of our fans than in away. I hope that together we can finish Saturday's game smiling.
Gasper Marguc: We have a really active result from the first game. We won by one goal but we could have achieved a bigger win seeing how the game was going. Still we are the favorites against every team in our court and it will be the same against Zagreb on Saturday. I hope that we can deliver a good performance and qualify for the quarter-finals. We missed 3 penalties that is not usual for us so we have to improve on that. We made too many turnovers during the game. We have to improve on that also. Our defense and our goalkeeper was great so we have more good things from the last game but there are still things to improve.
Aron Palmarsson: We should prepare ourselves for a good team coming to our court. They tried to slow their plays down in Zagreb to keep the score down but I do not think that they will play like that again in Veszprém. I think that the first game was not that good of a handball from both sides. They can play better handball. I think they will play faster and will try to run a bit more but we did a good job stopping their fastbrakes there but they will definitely bring the tempo up a little bit more.
