Veszprém – Vardar pregame statements

Tomorrow at 6 PM Telekom Veszprém is going to play at home a real derby against Vardar Skopje in the SEHA League. The game will be broadcasted live by Digi Sport 1. We asked the two head coaches and Péter Gulyás about their expectations.

 

 

Xavi Sabaté: Tomorrow we will have a very tough match. We will try to fight to finish in the first position of the season in SEHA League. They have an amazing season, they play very well and they are first in SEHA. We know each other very well because we played against each other a lot of times, especially in the last season. They are now in a very good form, have big confidence, they have great players and a very good coach. I hope our fans will come and support us like always, even if it will be a working day, especially to join our charity action helping kids.

 

Péter Gulyás: Both teams had a hard match in the last weekend. I think, we must take a revenge on Vardar for the loss in Skopje and continue our good form we show at home games. We work very hard in order to improve and hopefully you will see its result tomorrow. We hope we will play a good game against Vardar tomorrow. We ask everybody to help the children in the frame of our charity action tomorrow. We will do everything on the court in order to have our fans the best feelings at the end of the game.

 

Raúl Gonzalez: I expect a very good game, what we can wait from the first positon for. We would like to gather the three points, but we know, it will be very hard match here, in Veszprém, in this great atmosphere. Veszprém has great players and a great coach who makes very good job here. We wait for this game because we always have great matches against Veszprém. They have strong defense and play fast and we have more or less the same style. I hope tomorrow we can play hard and strongly.
