Veszprém – Vardar pregame statements

Coach Xavi Sabaté and Péter Gulyás shared their opinions about our upcoming SEHA League game against Vardar Skopje which will begin at 6 pm tomorrow and broadcasted by Digi Sport 1.

 

Javier Sabate Caviedes, head coach of MVM Veszprém:

We did not play so many games in the SEHA League this year, but we performed well so far. The most important thing was that everybody got enough playing time and there was not any injury in those games. The Vardar is better team than it was in the last season. It will be a difficult game especially we could not practice appropriately for tomorrow because of the international team’s week, but if course the Vardar is in the same situation. Mirko Alilovic and László Nagy will be able to play for sure tomorrow and the situation of Andreas Nilsson will be decided by the medical control today. We must win, we will play at home and we can count on the support of our fans. No one else can be compared to them. I ask them to come to the game in the possible highest number tomorrow and take part in the #be8player campaign of SEHA League.

 

Péter Gulyás, co-captain of MVM Veszprém:

We always must play for the win. Our opponent will be the Vardar Skopje which is one of the best teams in Europe for this moment. The best fans of the continent are behind us and I am sure they will prove this in the frame of #be8player campaign of SEHA League and help us a lot during the game tomorrow again.
