The biggest derby of Hungarian handball is just around the corner for Telekom Veszprém. We asked our head coach and three players to share their thoughts before our clash against MOL-Pick Szeged.
David Davis: Szeged is going to be a difficult opponent, mostly because of Juan Carlos Pastor, to whom I have a lot of respect. After six years, they had the best team for last season. They are dangerous, but we play at home and we always need to win our home games. We will have our Fans who will support the team 100%. The players are doing a really good job, every day and every training we are doing much better and better. Everybody knows that I want from them. I try to adapt the system to them, and not the total opposite. I have great players who have a lot of experience and know how to play this kind of match. I am not worried because I trust my players, and our Supporters.
Máté Lékai: The pressure is big, but on this level, there is pressure on everybody. You have to deal with it and perform well under such pressure. We want to win on home court, this is what we expect from ourselves, and what the Supporters and the Club expects. We will do whatever is takes to win.
Dragan Gajic: It is always a special match against Szeged and they are in a very good moment now. We did some mistakes against Tatabánya, because it is not easy to change the playing system in one week, although we are trying our best. We have to go out, show our best and fight. I hope that the Fans will be with us because we only do it together. We need the whole team and the Supporters to make a crazy atmosphere to help us. I am confident because we play at home. At the end, we are Veszprém and we have to show it on the court. I believe in us and I believe that everything is going to be all right.

René Toft Hansen: I am looking forward to this game very much, as I have heard a lot of things about it. The atmosphere is outstanding, but it is going to be a tough clash, as both teams want to win so badly. Of course, I hope we can win because it would be very important for us and for our Supporters as well. We prepare as to any other game. For me every match is important and I come prepared to every single one. We are ready to fight.
