Veszprém - Presov pregame statements

On Sunday at 5:30 pm Telekom Veszprém is going to host Tatran Presov in the Veszprém Arena and plays its last regular season game in SEHA League. The game will be broadcasted live by Digi Sport 1. Concerning to this upcoming match we asked head coach Xavi Sabaté and Ádám Borbély about their expectations.

 

 

Xavi Sabaté: This will be our last regular season game in SEHA League, furthermore we will play at home. This is 100% sure that we are in the second position. This is a good moment to give a rest to some players while others - who we have been working a lot all season long with – get more chances to play this time. These young players can show now their improvement against a very good team which participates in the Champions League. I expect a good match what we want to win, of course. But we must think on the close future because a very important game is waiting for us in the next week.

 

 

Ádám Borbély: We are going to host the Slovakian champion on Sunday. The games against them are always exciting. They have several national team players and the offense are very fast so we must run back quickly after our attacks. I would highlight Oliver Rabek who is a big shooter we know this well. I am sure that our defense will be the key to the victory. But our opponent is not so fasw while running back to defense so we should run a lot and score many goals from fast-breaks. We would like to get a confident win in our last home SEHA League match in this season.
