Veszprém – Nexe pregame statements

The season 2015/16 is moving on for MVM Veszprém. Our first game will be in SEHA League against RK Nexe in 2016. The game is going to start at 6 pm and broadcasted by Digi Sport 1. About the upcoming game head coach Javier Sabate and Mirsad Terzic shared their thoughts.

 

Javier Sabate, head coach of Veszprém: I expect a hard game, because Nexe is a tough opponent. I do not think we will have a same game like in Croatia where we played quite well. We must step out of the sensation of European Championship now. Some of our players could prepare in whole January, the others needed some recovery after the game of EC so they did not train as much with us. I can say the players are happy for joining to our team and working together again. I am sure we will be ready step by step. Those players who played on Sunday will not play tomorrow, but on the other side Momir Ilic and Christian Zeitz will be the member of our roster.

 

Mirsad Terzic, left back of Veszprém: As the coach has said we have been together again for not a long time. This is why I think that those players who could train in Veszprém in whole January must step up in front of the others and take bigger role, but it will not be a problem. Meanwhile we cannot expect the same performance we had against Nexe away, because in that time we were all together however having some injuries. So it will be a different situation. Despite this I hope this game will not cause us a problem and we will continuously getting back the same form we had earlier. About myself I can say I am happy with my new extended contract and I hope during this time we will be able to win the Champions League and achieve all of our big goals.
