Veszprém – Kristianstad pregame statements

 

Last week, Telekom Veszprém have suffered an unpleasant loss in Sweden against IFK Kristianstad. Our head coach and players told us how can they correct the mistakes they have made last Staruday.

 

David Davis: We are going to change some things. We are going to prepare better for this match than we did before. We have our match and we know where we made mistakes or had success. We are going to prepare excellently. We are going to be 5000 times more aggressive against them and of course 1000 times more focus than in Kristianstad.

 

 

Kent Robin Tonnesen: We have to keep in improving and have to make less mistakes. Have a good defense and maybe some more luck for our goalkeepers. We have to run a bit more than we did in Kristianstad. We have to be cleverer I think. We have to stand together as a team.

 

 

Borut Mackovsek: Our plan is to win because we should not have lost there. We know that we have much more quality than Kristianstad. I do not know what happened there, I did not play so good. We have to correct some things for the weekend. We should not make so many mistakes in offense because we had too many turnovers. We have to win for ourselves and for the Fans. We know that the people of Veszprém live for handball and we have to play well for our Supporters as well.

 

 

Manuel Strlek: We have to win because we are in a bad series right now in the Champions League. I hope that we can turn this around on our home game against Kristianstad. I must say that we are looking better and better on the trainings and we need to show this on the court. I think we still have time to improve our game and fix our spot in the group. I think that this season we play well for ten minutes and then we have five-six minutes where we do not. I think this is a problem. I hope we will improve this part of our game.
