Veszprém – Kielce pregame statements

 

We asked our head coach and 3 players their opinions about Telekom Veszprém - PGE Vive Kielce Champions League opener. 

 

Ljubomir Vranjes: I expect a tough fight in the first Champions League game. I mean both sides want to win of course. We have the advantage playing at home. It is going to be 60 minutes of hard work.

 

 

László Nagy: We will play our first Champions League game of the season at home, on which we would like to gain some confidence, by playing well. A long time has passed since our Fans could see us in the CL. We heard that there are many injured players at the opponent, but we do not care about that. We have to pay attention to ourselves, and give a good performance.

 

 

Roland Mikler: Despite the fact, that we could see on our last two games, that we need some time for perfect our game, I hope that now everyone will switch a switch in their heads and will know that the Champions League starts and this is another ball game. One of the best team of the world comes to Veszprém Arena and will face one of the best team in the world. This is what we would like to prove this week. There are no time for mistakes, or weaker performances, but everybody knows this. We are eager to play, but there are still some trainings we have to do.

 

 

Kentin Mahé: I expect a win and a big fight. This is going to be our first Champions League game this season, we are very motivated and focused. We had a lot of time to prepare, which is great. We are happy to play our first game at home.
