Ljubomir Vranjes: I think we have to go down to the basics. We have to take our pants off and start working for each other because I am not satisfied with the attitude with how we are working and that cannot be in this team. I want them to be much more aggressive and fighting with their whole body for every ball every time. That is what we talked about and did not happen in Aalborg. I am of course disappointed that we have to talk about that. What is important for me is that if the players take their shirt on they give their heart and will, that is what I told from the start of the season. They have to have passion for this club and this jersey. They have to show it every time. That is what I am expecting. It is a difficult situation but we have the team to win but it sometimes costs to win.
László Nagy: The first and most important thing is to gain back the trust of our Supporters. I feel like the last 3 Champions League games did not end in the way as we players and our Fans wanted or expected it. Of course, we did not expect this from ourselves so now that is the most important. I expect a tough battle because Kielce is still a great team, even though they had a few new players over the summer. According to the last few games we have to make our defense more stable and aggressive, so the Supporters can see the Veszprém they are used to. I, as captain, will try to bring the team back mentally as well. These last games were signs for all of us, and I think my teammates know this also. We will talk more about our previous games. Nothing is lost yet. We know that we have to give a lot more on the court and we would like to show it against Kielce in the weekend.
Momir Ilic: It will be a tough match for us because of the unexpected loss last week. We have to make order in our heads and prepare ourselves for this game. I know that it will be difficult but we will do everything to make our fans happy because they deserve it. I am sure we will do that. We can only win if we stay together.
Máté Lékai: Any ugly win will do for me against Kielce. It was 22 years ago when Veszprém suffered 3 defeats in a row, I was only in elementary school at that time. I am very sorry for what happened in the weekend, of course, I am sorry for the games before that too, when I said we would not lose any more games this year. Unfortunately, we did, so no matter what happens we have to leave the Arena as winners this weekend. We cannot let ourselves lose 4 games in a row. It does not matter how we are going to get back from this. Only the 2 points are acceptable, even with a bad game, it does not matter. This game will not be about world-class handball, I would be the happiest if it would, but it will be more about the victory we need.
