Veszprém - Brest pregame statements

 

We asked our head coach and some players about their expectations against Brest.

 

Ljubomir Vranjes: It will be nice to play at home in the Champions League again. We play against a good team who has a good defense. We are playing for 2 important points to be able to get to the best possible position in our group. We are really preparing for this game 100%

 

 

Máté Lékai: This is going to be our first home game in the Champions League in the new year. We would like to correct the defeat we suffered in Kiel. Only the victory is acceptable and I hope that the team will play well, and so will I. Furthermore, I hope that the Arena will be full and the atmosphere will be just like it was on our games in the fall.

 

 

Blaz Blagotinsek: It is going to be a tough match after the disappointing loss in Kiel. We need a good game with the help of our fans. We need to play faster than in the last game and also to improve in defense. I think it will be the key, the defense. We also need good attack but I think defense will be even more important.

 

 

Kent Robin Tonnesen: It is going to be a tough game because Brest has a great team. We have to perform better than we did last game. I think we are starting to get prepared well, we have a good week of training behind us. We had time to prepare for the game. We have to perform at our best level to beat them. We have to show the Fans that we can play better handball and that we can play on our best level.
