Veszprém – Brest pregame statements

Tomorrow at 7 pm the SEHA league competition goes on for Telekom Veszprém. The Meskhkov Brest is going to visit the Veszprém Arena. The game will be broadcasted live by Digi Sport1. About this upcoming match we asked head coach Xavi Sabaté and Cristian Ugalde.

 

 

Xavi Sabaté: The Meshkov Brest is a very good team, they have showed this fact already by several great results and performances in this season. We always play against them a tough game. There is only a short time of preparation for both teams after the international break. We will see in what condition the players will come back from their national teams. Of course, we want to win tomorrow. We know the “be8player” campaign of SEHA League relaunched and I am sure that a lot of Veszprém fans will take part in it and show in this platform, too, how great they are. The supporters are really the 8th player in Veszprém.

 

 

Cristian Ugalde: The Brest is a good team both in the SEHA League and Champions League. They achieved great results in both competitions in this season. We have only a short time for preparation after the international break, but we will do our best. We remember well the SEHA League Final4 2016 where we had a huge clash against Brest and I think there is a big chance to meet them there again. We want to win tomorrow in front of our fans. I am sure they will join again to the SEHA League’s be8player campaign and show they are really the best.
