Veszprém - Aalborg pregame statements

 

Ljubomir Vranjes: They play the typical Scandinavian style. They have good defense and good goalkeepers. They run a lot. We have to be prepared to run back and start defending and to do our job 100% on the court. We play at home court so naturally we would like to continue our winning streak and get the two points.

 

 

Máté Lékai: Every Champions League game is difficult because there are strong teams in our group. No games are easy at this level. Of course, I expect the team to win, even so because we play at home. It is never easy to get back to the regular form after the international break but I think we left in a good form after winning in Szeged by nine goals. Naturally, every game is different but I am hopeful for the win.

 

 

Andreas Nilsson: The Danish system compared to the Swedish system is pretty different so it will not be an advantage for me that I am Scandinavian. Of course, we play at home and we would like to keep the winning streak going. We want to win. The key to victory is, as always, goalkeeper performance, defense and running. These things are crucial and decisive in the question of who wins.

 

 

Gasper Marguc: They are a good team. They caused trouble to some really good teams in the group. They played well in Kiel and won against Celje. They had a surprising defeat at home against Meshkov. They play very fast handball, typical Scandinavian. We need to prepare ourselves to run a lot. Of course, at home, we are the favorites and we expect two points. In order to win, we have to stop their fastbreaks. The key will be, as always, our defense and from that, everything can go to the right direction.
