Up next: Telekom Veszprém−Motor Zaporozhye

In Round 8 of EHF Champions League we’re facing Motor Zaporozhye in Veszprém Aréna. The two teams have met just a week ago: Gintaras Savukynas’ side won 29-27.

After 7 rounds Telekom Veszprém is 3rd on the table of Group B: Momir Ilic’ side is undefeated in Veszprém so far, they won against PSG, Barca and Flensburg too. However, their record away from home is far less impressive. Veszprém could only clinch the two points from Porto, but lost to Kielce, Bucharest and Motor too.

Motor has defeated Porto (30-27) and Dinamo Bucharest (28-27) at home, but lost to Barca (25-36), Kielce (25-26), PSG (32-40) and Flensburg (27-34).

Both teams has won in their domestic leagues on the weekend: Telekom Veszprém has defeated SBS Eger 36-28, while Motor Zaporozhye got the better of Motor Polytechnic-ZAS 36-23.

The referees of Thursday’s game are Lars Jorum and Havard Kleven from Norway.
