In the second round of EHF CL Telekom Veszprém pays a visit to Lomza Vive Kielce. It was a busy summer for the Polish side: Dylan Nahi (PSG), Miguel Sanchez Migallon and Damian Domagala (KS Viret CMC Zawiercie) signed for Kielce, Angel Fernandez Perez (Barca), Milosz Walach (Torus Wybrzeze Gdansk) and Sebastian Kaczor (Górnik Zabrze) has left, Krzysztof Lijewski has retired and took the assistant coach role.

Talant Dujsebaev’s side has won all three of their training games in August (Taganrog, Füchse Berlin, SKA Minsk), and started the domestic league with three comfortable victory (Szczecin, Gwardia Opole, Górnik Z.).

However, in the opening round of EHF CL Kielce have lost to Dinamo Bucarest, which means that they will fight twice as hard for the two points this time.

Telekom Veszprém has already played 8 games this season: they won SEHA league in September, defeated Komló, Csurgó and FTC in the Hungarian Championship, and won 34-31 against PSG last week.

Kielce and Veszprém has faced each other 13 times in the history of EHF CL: Veszprém won 10 times, Kielce won 3 times, and their game ended in a draw once.

The last time they played in 2019 Veszprém won 28-24, the standout player of that game was Andreas Nilsson who scored 5 goals.

Mirza Kurtagic and Mattias Wetterwik are going to be the referees on Thursday.
