FC Porto has signed Pedro Cruz (Águas Santas), Pedro Valdés (Sporting CP), Sebastian Frandsen (TTH Holstebro) and Diogo Oliveira (HSC Suhr-Aarau), while Manuel Spath (HSV Hamburg), Tiago Sousa (AA Avanca), Martim Costa (Sporting CP), Miguel Martins (Pick Szeged), André Gomes (MT Melsungen), Francisco Costa (Sporting CP) and Márton Székely (Eurofarm Pelister) has left the club.
Magnus Andersson’s side is still undefeated in the domestic league: they got the better of SC Horta (38-25), Povoa (33-22), Xico Andebol (43-22), Vitoria (29-22) and Belenenses (32-25) too.
In the EHF Champions League FC Porto has collected 4 points so far: they lost to Motor in the opening round (27-30), and then defeated Flensburg (28-27) and Dinamo Bucharest (27-26) too.
Telekom Veszprém also had a great start to the season: our team has won the SEHA league Final Four, and is yet to be defeated in the K&H league too (Sport36-Komló, Csurgói KK, Fejér-B.Á.L. Veszprém, Kecskeméti TE-Piroska szörp). Momir Ilic’s side kept both points home against PSG and Barca, but lost to Kielce in the Champions League.
The two teams have met twice in the EHF CL before and Veszprém has won both games: 38-28 in October 2019, 31-24 in February 2020.
