Xavi Sabaté: Congratulations to Coah Gislason and his team. We had a great match. They had the chance of winning; they had a 2-goal advantage when it was only 90 seconds till the end. I congratulate to my players because they have not given up and they believed in themselves. We have proven it several times in the season how strong we are mentally. We had better defense on the second half and Mikler was excellent. We turned around the match but Kiel caught up and therefore they had the chance to win. But we still believed in ourselves and we managed to win the match in the overtime where Sliskovic scored important goals. Congratulations to all of my players and of course to the fans.
Gasper Marguc: We managed to come back to the game but unfortunately Kiel had an advance. In the last two minutes everybody could think that the match was “over” for us but we could still believe in ourselves and in the fact that we can win. Kiel got tired for the overtime and we won with fast break goals. I think that the viewers could see an exciting and fantastic match.
Alfred Gislason: We started great, we had good defense, Landin saved perfectly and our offence was good, too. In the second half we got slower and we got 5 goals in a row. However, we realized the situation and after that we played very disciplined. Unfortunately we made bad decisions at the end. We had no power in the overtime, we got tired and unfortunately we do not have many people on the bench. I think that we would have deserved the victory but we gifted it to Veszprém. Veszprém is an excellent team so I congratulate them and I wish the very best for tomorrow.
Dominik Klein: We are proud of our fans and we would like to thank them that they came for this weekend. This is our 6th Final4 but probably this is the worst day for us so far. It is really hard to say anything after this match.
