“These days mean the hardest trainings in the season.”

Telekom Veszprem's team traveled to Porec, Croatia yesterday in order to start its 9-day long training camp. We have spoken with Coach Xavi Sabaté before the travel.

 

 

A new season is ahead of us, we are motivated so we will do our job according to that. We have big goals and ideas in our minds, besides that we have to prepare for the changes in the rules. There are a lot of new things and at the same time there is little time for the preparation. I'm sure that the players will return motivated, every of them got a training plan in order to prepare alone during the summer. These days in Porec mean the hardest trainings of the season in the camp because they have to build a foundation with this training session for the upcoming season. Everything will be given in Porec in order prepare in peace for example an excellent hotel and facilities. I'm sure that everybody has the right base and will do everything to be the best in the next season which will be really hard. A lot of matches are ahead of us so we have to be patient with everyone. We have a lot of new players and I think that we can trust them. We have to work a lot with them because they will have important tasks in the season. They have to improve and learn, however mistakes are part of the learning progress so that is why we have to be patient with them.

 

 

It is unambiguous that the teams are improving continuously as every team changes all the time. There are some important changes in some of the rules which will have important roles during the season. These changes have effect on some tactical situations so we have to introduce new things in order to react accordingly for these changes in the rules.
