The Club celebrates its 40th anniversary with prestigious tournaments

As we have written about it several times, our Club celebrates its 40th birthday in 2017.

 

We would like to make the anniversary memorable with several events. After long series of negotiations we are pleased to announce that prestigious international tournament will take place in the Veszprém Arena in August, 2017.

 

 

On the last weekend of August (26-27) the Polish Vive Tauron Kielce, the Macedonian Vardar Skopje, the Slovenian Celje Pivovarna Lasko and Telekom Veszprém will play here.

 

The participants of the tournament have a great role in the life of the European handball. Celje and Kielce were winners of Champions League one-one time. Kielce and Veszprém got into the Final4 for three times in Cologne. Vardar was among the best eight teams of the CL in the last three years and they have a big chance now to get into the Final4.

In January we organize an international tournament for the young boys, who born after 2000. Participating teams are: Zagreb (Croatian), Celje (Slovenian), Zubri (Czech), Partizan Beograd (Serbian), NEKA, Szeged, Balatonfüred and Veszprém. Matches take place in Veszprém and Balatonfüred between 12 and 14, January.

 

According to the plans we would like to organize such tournaments in the future, too.
