Xavi Sabaté: First of all I congratulate to Vardar, who are a very strong team with a very good coach. Our team fought well and played a good match. In the first half Angelov was fantastic, and we made a lot of mistakes. I am happy we could make a comeback and got the lead. Our young goalkeeper, Borbély was great, I think he has a bright future ahead of him. We were not lucky in the last seconds, but we did our best today supported by our fantastic fans.

 

Gergő Iváncsik: I congratulate for both teams, we had a really good game. This was a game of two teams, which have a lot of matches and are tired, but they show 100 % on the court. It is positive that we were fighting till the end of the match, but it did not end as we hoped. We need to conclude the positive things and keep going on.

 

 

Raúl Gonzalez: Congratulations to Veszprém, they are a very good team. In the first half we started very good, Angelov was amazing and I was also satisfied with our fast breaks. We are very happy with the first place in SEHA League regular season.

 

Árpád Sterbik: We came to Veszprém after two lost games and I am happy that our team played a good game after the losses. Everybody knows that it is not easy to play in Veszprém. The result of the game is fair, we were in better form during the first half, the brilliant goalkeeper efficiency helped a lot. During the second half Veszprém was in a better form, but we were able to finish the match with a draw.
