Xavi Sabaté: Congratulations to Vardar for the well deserved victory. They get better and better in this season and it was obvious in the semi-final that they arrived in a good form for the weekend. Unfortunately we did not play well, especially in the second half when our opponent decided the match with a 5:0 run. I hope that we will have another chance to play against them this season and we will win for the first time this season. I am proud of my team, they fought hard. From now on we concentrate on winning the Hungarian Cup.

 

Dragan Gajic: Congratulations to Vardar, they were the better team tonight. It is hard to win scoring only 21 goals. Unfortunately we did not attack well, made a lot of turnovers. We still have important matches left so now we have to grow together as a team to face the upcoming challenges. I hope that the two teams will face each other in Cologne.

 

Raúl Gonzales: Congratulations to my team who performed 100% against a very good team. Good luck for them in the remainder of the season. I am very happy that we could win the SEHA League. We would like to enjoy this moment because it was very important for us. Congratulations to Veszprém and Xavi Sabaté who, in my opinion, is the best coach in the world.

 

Ivan Cupic: I hope the teams will meet again in Cologne. Our defense and our goalkeeper was phenomenal. If you can keep Veszprém on 21 goals it is a very good sign. I feel like we played better in the semi-final than today but we deserved to win. I am very happy and the SEHA League trophy is ours.
