Xavi Sabaté: Congratulations to our team for the great performance and for qualifying for the quarter-finals. We had some trouble in the last 15 minutes in Zagreb and we worked very hard this week to correct those mistakes. I am very happy with how the team worked this week. I am happy that the defense is in top form just as our goalkeepers’ performance. If the defense performs well than you can score easy goals. Our attack was great today. Some people say that we do not use our wingers. They were great today again and scored half of the goals. From now on we are preparing for the SEHA League Final Four and for our Hungarian Championship games. Good luck for Zagreb in Brest and maybe there we can play against each other again.
Gasper Marguc: I am really happy, that we started the match as we did, our defense was really good from the beginning. Every goal was important for us, we were running from the start. Our defense worked perfectly, and we wanted to continue this in the 2nd half as well and keep our feet on the gas. Now we can focus on the end of this season.
Silvio Ivandija: First of all congratulations to Veszprém for the well-deserved win and for qualifying to the quarter-finals. They showed today that they are still one of the best teams of Europe. If they continue to play like that they will grab a Final Four spot and maybe win it. We made too many mistakes, we missed clear chances and above all we found ourselves face to face with Mirko Alilovic who was in incredible form. It was inevitable to lose.
Ivan Stevanovic: Congratulations for Telekom Veszprém, they played a very good game today. Unfortunately we had many problems in attack. Veszprém was able to score easy goals. This game was not very good for us. I hope we can learn from this game. Now we should focus on the SEHA Final 4 next weekend.
