David Davis: It was a very complicated match, we had a hard week after the Tatabánya loss. Today our opponent was very tough because they started well in the CL and in the league as well. The game was hard, but we started well and after that, we started to go down until the end of the game. I tried to change the tactics because everything can be changed with that. I said this week a lot of times that the best goalkeeper will win the game and Sego was excellent today. I would like to congratulate my players because they gave everything tonight. Congratulations to Szeged as well. This is where we are now and we will work every day to change this. I have a lot of respect for Juan Carlos Pastor, because I have learnt everything from him.
Momir Ilic: Congratulations to Szeged! I do not want to talk about tactics I just want to thank the fans for their support. We fully trust in the head coach and his system. We are focusing on our goal and we are working really hard to reach it. I am sure that we are going to play much better than now, but it takes time.
Juan Carlos Pastor: It was a very hard game, especially the beginning until we could not find the solution for the 5-1 defense. Luckily, Veszprém could not get a bigger advantage for the break. In the second half, we could lead with 3-4 goals, which calmed us down. It is hard to play handball here and to win here. It is important to stay on the ground now, we won a huge battle but we can only continue by being humble and working hard, plus it is only October. My biggest problem now is that 14 of my players will have international week and I have no idea in what condition they return. I have a lot of respect for Veszprém but we have to be humble now.
Alen Blazevic: It was very difficult to play in Veszprém today. We know each other very well so it was a tactical game. We did not start the match very well, but we were able to stay in the game. During the second half we were playing very well so we were able to win. We are grateful our fans for their support and for coming with us today.
