Javier Sabaté: First of all congratulations to Schaffhausen, they played very well, they tried to lead long attacks and make us sleep into the game and not to let us score fastbreak goals. We played very good in offense. In the second half we played good in defense and we could finally score easy fastbreak goals where Gajic were effective. We had recently some problems with the team rotation but this is how this competition works. It is a long season, so every team has to deal with injuries. I am proud of my team because they got the two points and because they work hard for our goals and get better and more confident day by day. Thanks to our fans for supporting us tonight.
Dragan Gajic: First, I would like to congratulate my team for the win and to Schaffhausen for showing us that there are no easy games in the Champions League and that they deserve to be in group A. The difference was the key plays we made during tough moments. We tried to concentrate on defense today and from that we could score important goals. I would like to thank our supporters, it is fantastic to play in this kind of atmosphere.
Lars Walther: First I would like to congratulate Veszprém. Our goal was to play a good game and we managed to achieve that. We tried to lead long plays and we succeeded in that. I am proud of my team because they kept their discipline and fulfilled my tactical instructions. There were times when they lost their heads but it is understandable against such a good team as Veszprém.
Gábor Császár: Congratulations to Veszprém. My coach already told you everything about this game and how we prepared. I would only like to add that it was a super experience to play here in Veszprém with my third team. There were lots of familiar faces and I would like to thank the Veszprém fans for welcoming me with such ovation. About the game, we played until our last strength but the quality difference between the two teams, especially benches came out. We were struggling in offence from the 50th minutes but we are not sad about the final result. I would like to say thanks to our club, Schaffhausen, because we can play in this group and we are trying to bring good news home after every match.
