David Davis: Congratulations to our supporters, the city of Veszprém, the workers of the Club and my players. This month is difficult for everyone working here but everyone worked hard and this victory is like a big block of chocolate. We tried to play better and change some things but not so fast. I am satisfied because everyone played well and my players fought for every ball and enjoyed the game. We could prepare well for this game but it is not easy as Kristianstad is a great team with great players like Valter Chrintz. Ola Lindgren plays well with the youngsters and many big teams lost there. I am happy for the victory but we will continue the hard work tomorrow and the preparation for Löwen.
Sterbik Árpád: In the last 3-4 years I played many important and difficult games against Kristianstad, and I was not able to tell if it will be more difficult to win away or at home. I knew it will be a difficult game because Kristianstad is a very good team with a great coach and many good teams lost matches against them. I am very happy that we won this game. We made mistakes but there was no problem with our attitude and play. I hope that we will continue to play like this in the future.
Ola Lindgren: Congratulations to Veszprém and Davis. I think they were the better team from the beginning of the game. We hoped that we could stand up better in defense where we had problems. Veszprém found big spaces on our wall and scored from almost every position. We tried to score fast break goals to put them under pressure but they were too strong for us. It was difficult for us to come back from eight goals. It was a pleasure to play in Veszprém and it was a good experience for my young team.
Valter Chrintz: Congratulations to Veszprém! They were playing better than last week and our defense was not so good during this game. We were able to score 27 goals which is pretty good in an atmosphere like this. As for me, I am satisfied with myself, but it was not enough to win today. I am very young and I need matches like this to be able to improve.
