Ljubomir Vranjes: Congratulations to Brest. I think we did a great game in defense and helped our goalkeeper very well. When we made a mistake, Mikler corrected it. We had a good start in the fast break. They were in front, after a few minutes, but after that, we took control of the game. When you go in the break with many goals in lead, it is easy to lose concertation and focus on the game. I wanted to keep the concentration for 60 minutes regardless of who plays. I think the guys can get a lot of credit for today’s game. It was great to play at home again and to feel the supporters behind us. I hope we can continue this way, we have a championship game in the week but after that, we have a difficult game in Flensburg.

 

Petar Nenadic: Thank you for the congratulations. I think that we played very well for 60 minutes. We were able to play our game during the whole match. Thank you so much for the great atmosphere to our supporters. The next week we will play a difficult game against Flensburg and we will try to prepare for it in the best way possible.

 

 

Sergey Bebeshko: First, I would like to congratulate Veszprém for the great victory. In the first half, we did not reach that level we wanted. We had our goals we wanted to achieve, but it did not happen at all. I think we had great opportunities from the 6-meter line, but as always, Mikler saved very well against us. Veszprém could score easy fast break goals and I was not satisfied with the defense neither. In the second period, those players played who did not get a lot of chances before. They tried hard but the game was already won then. From now on, we concentrate on the next game.

 

Ivan Pesic: First of all, congratulations to Veszprém! After our two SEHA League matches we were not able to play our best game today. Veszprém had a really good defense so they scored many fast break goals. We had technical mistakes and we did not play well mostly in the first 15 minutes, and we also have 4 injured players. This is not our level, but we can do it better. We will try to prepare as much as we can for our next match against PSG.
