David Davis: All teams have their goals in this part of the season. Tatabánya’s is to go the EHF Cup Final Four. They have more focus on that game. Our goal is to beat Flensburg of course. Tatabánya is a strong opponent and we prepared accordingly. They made more rotations than usual.
Blaz Blagotinsek: It was a good game. After the national break, it is hard to play this kind of important game. We concentrate on Mezőkövesd and Flensburg after this. This last part of the season is very important for everyone because all teams are fighting for their goals now.
Vladan Matic: Congratulations to coach Davis and Veszprém. This game was a good preparation for us for the EHF Cup quarterfinal. I have to tell that most of our foreign players returned to the team yesterday. We had a lot of players today, and everyone could play, fortunately nobody got injured. We still have time to prepare against our Danish opponent. It is visible that there is a difference in the play when our second line steps on court. Borzas and Nagy joined the team in February and they still need to learn the system. It is for sure, that we have to be more disciplined against Holstebro.
Ádám Juhász: Congratulations to Veszprém. Coach Matic told most of the things. We started well but made mistakes and Veszprém could take a bigger lead. The exhaustion of the national week was visible on both teams. We played a good game in away and I think this five goals loss is not much against them. It could have been closer, but we can be satisfied. Our goal today was to prepare against Holstebro.
