Xavi Sabaté: I congratulate Tatabánya’s team and coach, they played great. Coach Matic was right when he said that the difference was too big between the two teams at the end. The visitors were good. Mirko Alilovic performed extremely well, which helped our defense. As my colleague mentioned their team is a new one, which is still changing, yet they are dangerous. It will be hard to win against them away so I am glad that we played this home match in September. It would have been harder later. I wish them good luck moreover I would like to thank our fans for supporting us even if this match was on weekdays.

 

Timuzsin Schuch: I congratulate Tatabánya, they were really good. The first half started strongly. We gave some balls away and we were unsettled. Mirko gave a really good base for the team, he helped us and I think he was the best player of the match. Tatabánya’s team will be dangerous in this year; they may change the outcome of the championship. I wish them good luck!

 

Vladan Matic: I congratulate Veszprém again and wish them good luck for their performance in the different championships. I think that this 9-goal difference is too much, it can be seen that we are at the beginning of the season. Alilovic, goalkeeper of Veszprém, performed better in the second half. We focus now on the match against Szeged in the weekend. We have 10 new players and we have to integrate them into the team so we have to improve.

 

Balázs Szöllősi: I always like to play against Veszprém because I feel free when I am on the court. Unfortunately we missed out a lot of lay-ups and this is the reason for the big difference. We are at the beginning of the road. I am happy that we can play against Veszprém and Szeged at the beginning of the season.
