Xavi Sabaté: Congratulations to Barcelona, and good luck in the future. Our defense was very good in the first half and Mikler was amazing and we could score fastbreak goals. In the second half we could not keep the level up. We have some key players injured like Palmarsson and Sliskovic for a long time. Because of this it is hard to give enough rest to László Nagy and Momir Ilic. We have to keep working. Ristovski was the key, he saved clear shots and penalties. It is a lot when you play against such a good team like Barcelona.
Roland Mikler: Congratulations to Barcelona. It was a fantastic match, but Ristovski was amazing. If a goalkeeper plays like this, and we can score only 22 goals with players who have big routine, of course it’s hard to win. I think 25 goals isn’t much, but in the end the difference was my goalkeeper colleague.
Xavier Pascual: First of all congratulations to Veszprém, to play here is amazing and not easy to win here. I am very proud of my team. In my opinion we deserved to win. In the first half Veszprém had some fast break goals but in the second half we resolved the problem. Ristovski played very well. It is not easy to play here. We knew Veszprém had some injuries and we try to benefit from this. I am happy with the win. Two more points for us.
Viran Morros: First of all, I would like to say that, it is incredible to play in this arena, especially if we win. In the first half, Veszprém could score a lot of fastbreak goals, but in the second half our defense was better, and we won. We are really happy for the victory, because we are still at the first place in the group.
