Xavi Sabaté: Congratulations to my team and to the opponent as well. We played a good game. One of our goals for this game was to rest most of our players, such as Lékai and Terzic. The other goal was to give the youngsters a lot of playing time. They have to learn a lot and they cannot do it without playing. I think our best player today was Ubornyák. He works well. I am happy that 4-5 young players could play at the same time. From tomorrow we start preparing for the SEHA League Final4. Good luck to Gyöngyös for the rest of the season, I hope that they can stay in the first division.

 

Dávid Ubornyák: Congratulations to Gyöngyös. They welcomed us with a strong defense. I personally tried to do what the coach asked from me, to break the defense of the opponent. I am happy that I got a chance at home court. We young players concentrate on being better and better to earn more playing time.

 

Tibor Nigrinyi: We can be satisfied with this game. It was great that we could play the tactical elements we need in the home of such a good team as Veszprém. We had to fight hard to play a game this close. Congratulations to them for beating Zagreb and for qualifying to the quarter-finals. We could feel that it was a tough game for them, many of their key figures who play in the Champions League were having a rest. Congratulations to my players, I think if we continue like this we have a chance.

 

Gergő Rózsavölgyi: Congratulations to Veszprém for the win and for qualifying to the best 8 teams in the Champions League. It is a huge experience to play here especially for me who played here for so long. I think we can be satisfied with the way we played, we did everything the coach asked for and we could exercise different formations. From now on we concentrate on the game against Eger.
