Statements about the Champions League draw

 

Ljubomir Vranjes: It is a pretty tough group. If we want to take the next step, we do not have easy opponents. Of course, I am looking forward to the start and we will try to get as good position in the end as possible. We have games where we have to travel a lot, but the toughness will depend on how the season is planned. I think that we have to be the best to finish every game well.

 

 

László Nagy: This is a great group, and we will see great games. There are a lot of tough opponents, like this year’s and last year’s champion. There is Barcelona as a big name and Löwen as one of the best German team in the last years. Kristianstad plays in a Scandinavian style, which was hard for us last year. I expect a balanced group, where point will matter. It will be a great feeling playing in Barcelona, and in the same arena where I have played for 12 years. The most important part is for the team to achieve a great result, so will go for the win there as well.

 

 

Dragan Gajic: The Champions League is a hard competition. There are no bad teams, everybody is good, especially at Groups A&B. You cannot find easy opponent. Our group is hard, like always, but our goal has to be winning the group, to get and to increase much needed confidence until the elimination matches, when CL ‘begins’ for the 2nd time! I am very happy that we are playing against Montpellier! It is the town where my son was born and I have spent a lot of beautiful moments there! I am very happy that I will meet my friends, supporters and the BlueFox from Montpellier. As it is for the team, we need to play every match, as it is the final for us! Last season we were disappointed in the CL and this year we must be, and we will be fully motivated to bring Veszprem back where it belongs! We have the best fans, best supporters and I am sure that they are also motivated to give us a support like never before! Let the games begin....

 

 

Patrik Ligetvári: I think we will have a very difficult job, even more difficult than last year, because we got very tough opponents in the group. We did not get a PSG, but instead the champion Montpellier. There is Barcelona as well, who will have a great team next season. Of course, they should not cause trouble to us, as we will have a great team, with which we will prepare well for the season ahead of us. Our biggest dream is to win the Champions League, and for that, we will need to beat everyone in our way.
