SEHA League’s 2016/17 season has evolved

SEHA League has posted on its official website which teams will play in the 2016/17 season of the South-East European tournament. Reading the names of the teams, one can say that it will be the hardest tournament ever in the history of the league, so for Telekom Veszprém it will be an even bigger challenge to defend its Title.

 

In this year, 10 teams will play in the SEHA League and the matches will start on 6, September. The system is similar to last year’s: in the regular season, everyone will play 2 matches with everyone (on home court and away) and the top four will fight for the victory in the Final4.

 

What has changed is the list of the participating teams. There are no Serbian teams this year, however two of the best Slovenian teams will be there, moreover a new Club will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

The following 10 teams will take part in the 2016/17 SEHA League: Telekom Veszprém (Hungarian), Vardar Skopje, Metalurg Skopje (Macedonian), Celje Pivovarna Lasko, Gorenje Velenje (Slovenian), PPD Zagreb, RK Nexe (Croatian), Meshkov Brest (Belarusian), Tatran Presov (Slovakian) és Zvidjac Ljubuski (Bosnian).
