Ljubomir Vranjes: I think it was two different halves. Celje played very well in the first half, they scored from almost every chance they got. They played fast and it was a good game from them in the first period. We had some problems in the defense and I am not satisfied with the 18 goals we got. It cannot be our goal to get 18 goals in 30 minutes. That is way too much. We were a bit passive in some situations and we did not have saves to be honest. They were leading by 2 goals in half time and it was well deserved. I think we came back very well in the second period. We changed tactics and some players in the defense as well. We changed the goalkeeper too. I feel like we had control of the game in the second half. We still have to improve, I am not satisfied with some things from today but we will work hard to improve our game much more. Once again Celje did this game hard for us, they did very well. I am satisfied with the victory but we will train at home and do better next time.

 

Dragan Gajic: As the coach said we did not play our game in defense, especially in the first half. We were not as aggressive as we have agreed to be. Anyway we changed some things for the second period in defense and we scored 5-6 goals from counter attack which is our game this year. I think we can be happy. No team will have an easy game in Celje. There are no easy games in today’s handball. We can be satisfied with the victory. We have to work hard, as we are in just the first level but we want to go higher.

 

 

Branko Tamse: Congratulations to Veszprém, it was a well deserved win. We played 50 minutes of good handball. We made some mistakes and Veszprém is a quality team which will punish it immediately. We made some good things, especially in offense but Veszprém is very good in defense. We were not agressive enough. Máté Lékai was the leader of his team and it was hard to defend him.

 

Jaka Malus: We played the first 50 minutes fast and scored easy goals. In the last 10 minutes we made mistakes, shot too much and missed. Veszprém is the better team. As coach said the difference between us was too big again.
