PSG - Veszprém pregame statements

 

We asked the opinion of our headcoach and 3 players about the upcoming Champions League clash.

 

Ljubomir Vranjes: We are facing one of the best teams of the world and we are preparing like that. We know it is going to be difficult but not impossible to win there. We are going to concentrate on ourselves and do our job as well as possible. The key to victory? One key is not enough, you must have several keys. You have to function well against a team like Paris because they have such a big individual quality in the team that one key is not enough. You have to have 5 or 6 keys at least.

 

 

Mirsad Terzic: It is going to be a tough game because Paris is a very strong team. They show it week by week in the Champions League, especially at home. They are hard to beat but I think we are in a good way. We are growing as a team game by game and we will be ready for them.

 

 

Gábor Ancsin: Of course, we go to Paris to win. We are aware the fact that it is going to be a hard game and a lot of things have to go our way to take the 2 points home. The key is going to be the same as it was against Kielce and Szeged. We formed a very strong team cohesion, no matter what happened on the court. We could stay together and kept pushing each other. This will be the most important on Sunday also.

 

 

William Accambray: There is one expectation and that is victory. It is important for us, for the team. We are first in our group at the moment and it is important stay on that spot for the rest of the competition. We will have a hard week because we play against Paris twice, once there and once here. We know that they have some injured players but it will not be easier to win. I am happy because I am going back to the Arena where I like the fans. I will have some friends there because I played with them last year and because they are also French. My father will be there too. It is all good but in my mind I am going to Paris just to play handball and to win. That is the most important.
