Presov – Veszprém pregame statements

The last season game in SEHA League is waiting for MVM Veszprém. On Saturday at 5 pm we are going to play an away match against Tatran Presov. The clash will be broadcasted live by Digi Sport 2. We asked Coach Xavi Sabaté and Andreas Nilsson about this upcoming game.

 

 

Xavi Sabaté: The Presov always performs very well at home. Some of their players left in the recent time, new younger players took over these positions in their squad who must still learn the playing system that is not an easy task. I think the Tatran is one of the best teams in the SEHA League, they had a big competition for the fourth position in order to qualify to the Final4. This shows how high level they represent. Moreover they played in the Champions League, too. We played two away games in row in consecutive days, we do not have too much time for preparation so I expect a difficult match. But our players always want to bring their best, we play for the victory all the time and when we will step on the court against Presov on Saturday, we will be 100% ready again.

 

 

Andreas Nilsson: We have been travelling a lot in this week that is always difficult, but of course we will go to Presov to win in our last season game. However Presov missed the SEHA League Final4, but they are a very good team and at home they are especially dangerous for everybody. I remember it was hard for us to win in their home last year, I guess a tough game is waiting for us again. Anyway we would like to gather the three points and improve because this is the most important thing for us. We have been waiting for this period of the season because the really big games are coming now: the Final4 of SEHA League and Hungarian Cup, the knock-out round of Champions League and the playoff of Hungarian Championship. Our calendar is full of with matches, but this is fine for us.
