Pre-Super Cup final statements

Leier Handball Super Cup Final takes place in Győr this Saturday. The game starts at 4 PM, where the two big rivals, Veszprém and Szeged will clash. This is our first official stake game in the 2015/16 season. We asked our Coach and Captain about the upcoming game.

 

 

Carlos Ortega, head coach: We always look forward to playing against Szeged, like this time in Super Cup. We very much respect our opponent but we obviously want to win so that we can start the new season with another trophy gained in Hungary. We know exactly that we are facing a difficult task because Szeged must be preparing hard to perform well. I think we worked hard and we are well-prepared. However, I’m not fully satisfied; we still need to improve our defence. We keep working hard and we are going to do everything we can for the victory at the weekend.

 

 

László Nagy, team captain: The preparation is going well, we are really motivated to play in Super Cup and we definitely want to win. This will be our first official game in 2015/16 season, so it would be great to start it with a victory. A game against Szeged is always special because of the rivalry of the two teams so everyone is eagerly awaiting the game. We want to debut with a victory in the new season.
