Peter Nenadic will be fighting for the biggest trophies in a Veszprém jersey, for another year.

Congratulations on your contract extension Petar! How are you feeling right now?

I am happy, we can continue the work we began  and the journey we started on this summer, this means a lot to me. Everybody knows the ambitions I brought with me to this club and in order to achieve these goals, we have to keep working. We are capable of reaching the goals we set out for ourselves.

Did you think long and hard about your decision?

I didn’t have to, we settled the contract extension discussion really quickly and smoothly, without any doubts or uncertainties. I think both parties are happy with everything.

 

What do you think about the boys’ most recent Champions League match?

The boys certainly played a really good game of handball against Dinamo Bucharest, the whole team deserves praise. We still have two games to play  this year, I am sure the boys will fight until the very end to keep our dreams and goals alive.

What do you think, when will you make your comeback?

This depends on a lot of factors, our physiotherapists, our doctors, but we are working on getting myself back to 90-100% capacity by the time we begin the second half of the season in January. Of course, there is still a lot of therapy and work ahead of me until then. My injury is probably not one of the most severe injuries, but still I have to be careful.

What would you like to say to the Veszprém fans?

I am not a huge social media user, but I think people still know my feelings. It’s a wonderful thing, that I can play day-by-day in such a beautiful Arena, in front of such a special fanbase. There is an old saying, which I think is applicable here, I read it once in a book and I keep repeating it every chance I get. If you must do one thing, that’s turning your fears into faith. Believe in yourself that you can do it! I think this is the mentality that we all have to instill in ourselves. The people and the fans that support us, should follow us in this regard; believe and everything will work out. No one knows how the season will continue or how it will end. There is one thing that’s certain however, my goals, my assists, my good performances wouldn’t be possible without my teammates, our club and our fans, who support us week-in and week-out.
