Péter Gulyás: 17 seasons in a row!

Péter Gulyás and Veszprém Handball Team Ltd. have agreed today. The Hungarian National Team’s right wing will be the member of the team for another year, which means that he will play by Telekom Veszprém until 30 June, 2017.

 

“Gulyi”, who was born in Veszprém and was raised by the Club, played his first game in the first team in 2001. Since then he got 15 Hungarian Championship titles and win the Hungarian Cup 13 times with “Építők”. He played in the CL Final 2 times and he is a twofold SEHA League winner. Nevertheless, he won the KEK in 2008 with “Építők”.

 

The 32 year-old, 200 cm high and 105 kg right wing has played on 562 matches and scored 1349 goals. He is the 4th one as for the matches and 7th one as for the goals on the all-time ranking of the club. He finished on the 4th place with the Hungarian National Team on the Olympic Games in London in 2012.
