Xavi Sabaté: I congratulate for the well-deserved victory of Paris. I think that they were better today than us, especially in the second half. Our defense and attack were good in the first playtime. We could stop their favorite play, they could not run as much as they usually do. We started the second half well, Mikler saved efficiently. But then we had too many turnovers while trying to pass the ball to the pivots and unfortunately PSG scored 8 fast break goals from that so they won. All in all I think that there were too many mistakes to win the game against PSG in their home. Nevertheless I congratulate the team for the hard fight. From now on we are preparing for the next game.

 

Marko Kopljar: I had interesting feelings as for coming back here after amost 2 years. As my coach said we lost the game because of the false passes in the second half. We could not pass the ball to our pivots so Paris could steal these balls and score easy goals. We definitely need to improve in it until our next match.

 

 

Zvonimir Serdarusic: This was a very hard game against an excellent team. Thank to Thierry Omeyer we had a 2-goal advantage for the end of the first half. In the second 30 minutes our defense was very good. I am glad for the victory and we are waiting for the next game.

 

Mikkel Hansen: I believe that we did our best today. It is really hard to win against such a good team as Veszprém, which consists of many excellent players. That is why it was an interesting match. They played really well in the first half, however in the second half our defense got better and thank to it we managed to score many goals from fast breaks. We are very happy about this victory but we have a lot of matches ahead of us and we need to prepare for the challenges.
