Our team is going to be in hummel starting the next season

hummel and Telekom Veszprém today announced a new sponsorship agreement, with hummel becoming the official kit supplier of the top-level Hungarian handball club. The Danish sports- and fashion brand and the Hungarian champions have agreed upon a three-year-long contract, starting with the 2017/2018 handball season. According to the contract not only the first team but the youth system of Telekom Veszprém is going to wear the products of the new partner.

 

The Veszprém Handball Team Co. Ltd. signed the contract with the LV International Ltd. which is the exclusive distributor of hummel in Hungary.

 

Representing the handball team, Gábor Kálomista managing director said the following: “I would like to welcome everyone and I am happy that so many of you could come. We would like to officially announce that we are not extending our contract with adidas. It was a hard decision to make but hummel made an offer to our 9 consecutive times Hungarian champion and 4 consecutive times Champions League Final4 participant Club that was worthy and irresistible.”

 

From hummel Michael Rasmussen, Key Account Manager of International Markets visited the Veszprém Arena and gave the following statement: “With this great cooperation between hummel and Telekom Veszprém, we strengthen our focus on our brand in the region even more. On top of that, we will also strengthen our focus on an international level, both in handball and multisport. Hummel’s DNA is rooted in team sport, so this is a natural step to take,” says Michael Blicher Rasmussen, Key Account Manager on hummel’s International Markets.

 

The company manager of Hungarian partner, LV International Ltd, Lászlo Veisz thinks “Welcome everybody. It was an honor to conduct the birth of this contract. We have just started importing hummel into Hungary and I think we can build a successful and strong relationship with Veszprém both in the Hungarian and foreign market as well. We will work with the club and the brand hand in hand to make this co-operation flawless between the two parties.”
