Opinions about CL draw

We reached Coach Ortega and three players on phone and asked them about their opinion on our next season group in Champions League.

 

Carlos Ortega: It will be a strong group with more hard games than before. However, as group winners, we might have better chance to qualify into the Final 4. Similarly to previous years, we have to show our strength at home and win all matches. We might lose a couple of games, against PSG and Kiel for example, but I’m sure that we have all the chance to be group winners.

 

László Nagy: In the past years we always got into the strongest group so I wouldn’t have been surprised if we had have Barcelona as well somehow (laughing). It is a hard group but we like challenges and we are going to prepare accordingly. We’ll see what the new system is going to be like, but we definitely have to fight as much as possible until the last round. Being on the top of the group will be important.

 

Péter Gulyás: It is a strong group. Almost every team is equally good. We have to perform as well as possible in the autumn in those ten games in order to be group winners. We can’t lose at home and we have to defeat teams of the last four pots. Looking at the opponent teams, we can see that we are going to travel a lot which also makes our situation hard.

 

Gasper Marguc: We can’t avoid Celje. I’m not even surprised; I knew it (laughing). This is a really strong group; I would highlight Kiel, PSG, Flensburg but all the teams are very good. Only Besiktas might seem a little bit strange but we all know that Turkey spends a lot of money on sports so they might surprise us, especially on home court in front of their fans. We are facing more games and strong teams. I’m sure it will be hard.
