Nexe - Veszprém pregame statements

Telekom Veszprém is going to play two games within two days in Croatia. The second one will be against Nexe in Nasice on Sunday at 6 PM. The match will be broadcasted live by Digi Sport 1. Preparing for the game we asked head coach Xavi Sabaté and Ádám Borbély.

 

 

Xavi Sabaté: After the hard clash of Zagreb it will be difficult to play in the home of Nexe because our players will be tired. The Nexe has a new head coach who can work together with mainly young talented and some experienced players. We would like to win against them this time again but we need for it extra effort from our players.

 

 

Ádám Borbély: On the next day, following our game againts Zagreb, we will visit Nexe, so I am sure we will need even more focus on that match. We would like to perform as well as possible and minimize our mistakes. We want to avoid to have such a close endgame like it was in Veszprém. This time it would be better if we can build up a confident lead and decide the match earlier. Of course, we respect them very much. They are a good team having talented young players and some excellent experienced players like Spiler and Zrnic.
