Xavi Sabate: Congratulations to Kielce for the victory. I think we have played on a high level for 45 minutes, but after that we weren’t good in attack. We haven’t won in the last 15 minutes because of the attack. The goalkeepers were very good, defended some key attacks in key moments, but the match lasts for 60 minutes, not 45. Congratulations to all of my players, they did a good job. I am sad because of them, and because of the fans, I think they deserved to win.

 

Talant Dujshebaev: I can say that my players are my heroes. They fought, believed in this victory. I can be proud that we won against such a great team as Veszprem, but from the other side I am sad because they are my friends, like Nagy, Iváncsik and all others. Hungarian handball is part of my heart and that’s why I am happy but not 100 percent. Veszprem was a better team for 48 minutes, they played better, but my players had character and this victory is 100 percent theirs.

 

Gergő Iváncsik: Congratulations to Kielce. I can’t say anything. It’s very difficult. I don’t know what happened in the last 15 minutes and why we couldn’t score. Thanks to all of the fans who supported us here or at home. Next year we will try it again.

 

Tobias Reichmann: We were losing with nine goals, Veszprem played very good, controlled the match and then something went wrong in their play and we started to play very well. I am proud of my team and our fans who believed in us. I am very happy.
