Xavi Sabaté: Congratulations to coach Vujovic and his team for bringing such a good game today. We expected this kind of match. Our defense was good in the first 25 minutes, and we could score fast break goals from stolen balls. Zagreb made second half tight, we made several mistakes in offense, and they could run. They had the chance to take away points from here, but at the end we had luck and we were good at important moments and got these very important points. I congratulate to my players for their efforts, thanks to the fans for the great support. I wish all the best to Zagreb!

 

Ivan Sliskovic: Congratulations to Zagreb, they were very good today! I share Xavi’s opinion, and we are very happy with these 2 points. I congratulate to my teammates and our fans, they were behind us like always.

 

Veselin Vujovic: Congratulations to Veszprém, it was hard to get used to the referees’ style. It took 15 minutes to get this, alongside this we had several technical mistakes. We tried to catch Veszprém, it was a very hard work. I congratulate to my colleague Xavi Sabaté and his team, but both of our games this year in Champions League had questionable referees. We have two games to qualify for the last 16, and I wish Veszprém to win the Champions League.

 

Stipe Mandalinic: I congratulate to Veszprém for the fair game and victory. In the first half our defense was not so effective, but in the second one we could improve, it was the key of the tight game. I wish the best to Veszprém for reaching the Final Four.
