Veszprém played a difficult game against the Brazilian Taubaté, we could only win the match in the last 10 minutes.

 

In the first half the team were head-to-head, the Veszprém did not really like the open defense of its opponent which team played its offense until last moments and scored sometimes in passive situation.

 

The two team were changing each other all the time in the first half, only the Taubaté could have two-goal lead.

 

 

In the second half the fight continued, in the middle of this period Mikler was substituted Alilovic and this change had big impact in the final result. In the last 10 minutes the Veszprém could have 2-goal difference in the first time, but then two of our players were suspended. The Brazilian team could not live with this opportunity and after that the victory of Veszprém was not in danger.

 

After this unexpected close quarter final we will play against the winner of the clash between Al Sadd and Sidney University at 7 pm (Hungarian time) tomorrow.
