David Davis: We wanted to win this match, to finish the group stage well. We knew that Motor had some changes, but they could still have a good match. Congratulations to my players, because it could not have been easy to play after knowing that we cannot move from the second position. Congratulations to Székely as well, because this was his first game that he actually played in. I would also like to mention Zoran Ilic, who is a young player, and had some time today on the court and even scored a goal.
Márton Székely: I am so happy and proud of our team. We did a great job, and shown our character because we were already on second place in the group regardless of the result today. We came here for the two points and I am happy that we did so.
Gintaras Savukynas: Thanks to my team and congrats to Veszprém. Our main problem today was that we could not score goals. Thanks to my players, who showed great character in this game and they were trying until the last second. Unfortunately, we only had one training together so far, so today I had to improvise a lot during the game. In conclusion, thanks to my team for the effort, and we will try to show better performance in the upcoming games.
Gennadiy Komok: We did not want to finish our Champions League season with such a big loss, but as coach said, we could not score goals. From now on, we concentrate on Brest in the SEHA League.
