Momir Ilic signed to Veszprem

Momir Ilic signed a 3-year contract with MKB Veszprem KC. The excellent player moves to Veszprem with his wife in the summer.

 

’I say only a few sentences about the 2nd leg of the Final Four qualifying match: We achieved the qualification in a very difficult struggle. However, I experienced what a fantastic team I will come to. ’ –said the world-class player to our site.

 

‘Since I announced that I will not stay in Kiel after my contract expiry there had been a lot of guess and opinion in the European sport-newspapers and internet sites about that why I leave Kiel and the Bundesliga. The reasons are manifold but they are not important for now, so there is not anything to say. I feel more relevant for the near and distant future because there are a lot of tasks ahead of me in Kiel until the end of the season and then I move to Veszprem with my wife, Maja.’ –said Ilic to the Nemzeti Sport.
