Juan Carlos Pastor: We’ve never been better but the game ended up as usual. We had a lot of technical mistakes in the second half; with only a few shots. Congratulations to all of my teammates, we are moving forward. But we tend to weaken during the match even if we have better odds. We have to improve a lot and of course congratulations to Veszprém and Carlos for his excellent job. He is a great coach and a real winner. I don’t want to go back to Spain after Tuesday, only after Sunday; we’ll do our best so that we can come back to Veszprém on Sunday.

 

Ferenc Ilyés: We’ve been playing great for 50 minutes, and then we had some mistakes which our great opponent, Veszprém took advantage of. We will try to win at home on Tuesday; it would be awkward to go on a holiday after series of defeats.

 

Antonio Carlos Ortega: Congratulations to Szeged, it was a difficult game against them. They are getting better; they come up with new tactics in each game. I’m proud of my team and I’m glad that they were able to close up. We don’t have much time to prepare for the game today, we have to fix our weaknesses, and we should keep in mind that winning in Szeged is extremely hard.

 

Cristian Ugalde: Congratulations to Szeged, they were great opponents. It’s really hard to win against Pick for 5 times, the matches are getting more difficult. If someone only reads the results then they wouldn’t know how much work and analysis is actually behind it. We proved again that this is a strong team.
